STAR TREK: TNG “STARFLEET MEDICAL/ENGINEERING DEVICE”

Description: A prop item featured in the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode “Tin Man” and “Identity Crisis”. In “Tin Man” it is used by “Geordi La Forge” (LeVar Burton) as an Engineering tool and in “Identity Crisis” by “Nurse Ogawa” (Patty Yasutake); it is dark gray plastic featuring black accents across the middle and near the emitter lights. A button near the exposed end activates two red bulbs on the front of the device and two smaller ones underneath, all powered by a single nine-volt battery that is visible from the rear of the device. The odd thing about this item is that it was made that the battery juts out the back and is actually visible on screen when used in the “Identity Crisis” episode. The item has very minor distress due to time and storage conditions and measures approx. 4.5 X 1.5 X 1 without the battery inserted.
