Description: A piece of set dressing featured in the Star Trek: Enterprise episode “Demons”; wherein a xenophobic faction known as “Alpha Prime” seeks to derail the very first formal discussions of what would become the United Federation of Planets. This item is a control console that pops up out of the desk of “John Frederick Paxton” (Peter Weller) after the entire Orpheus Mining Facility is launched towards Mars; it is a copper-colored metal, pyramidal-shaped console with a hinge on the back where it flips up, a hydraulic arm on the bottom that actually pushes it up, wires sticking out on the left side, a large graphical application of an “incoming data stream”, numbered data, and ‘buttons’, and a custom-cut piece of smoked acrylic over it. The item measures approx. 16 X 5 X 5 inches.
