Description: A costume featured in the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode “Home Soil”; wherein a group of terraformers are at odds with a newly discovered microscopic, silicon-based organism that is being killed by their efforts to adapt the planet to human standards. This costume is for wear by Gerard Prendergast in the role of one of the scientists that believed the planet to be lifeless, “Bjorn Bensen”, and consists of a long-sleeved, full-length, mint and gray colored jumpsuit with numerous functional pockets, a wrap around front that attaches to magnetic buttons, half collar, stirrups for the feet, and some extra button accents. A sewn in tag reads on “G.P.” but a costumer’s tag reads ‘#117 Home Soil, Bjorn Bensen, Gerand Prendergast’.
