Description: ORIGINAL STARFLEET COMMUNICATOR FROM STAR TREK. (NBCTV, 1966-69) This extremely rare, original Starfleet communicator is constructed of black vaccuform plastic with brass-colored metal flipscreen, which opens to reveal a round dial with yellow, red and green jeweled indicators just beneath. The back side is covered with a wide Velcro strip, attached with a period adhesive, for easy attachment to a crewmember’s waistband. Comes with a letter of authenticity from Star Trek set decorator John Dwyer. Original Star Trek landing set props with excellent pedigrees are the rarest of Star Trek collectibles.
