STAR TREK VII: “KIRKS' ORBITAL SKYDIVING BOOTS” – STUNT

Description: A pair of orbital skydiving stunt boots for wear by a male. The boots were created for the deleted scene in Star Trek VII: Generations involving “Captain Kirk’s” (William Shatner) extreme sport interests. The items are heavy duty with neoprene inside and out, with black exteriors pyramidal patterned vinyl coverings for a textures appearance, molded rubber accents to suggest hardware, and iridescent purple square tiles applied in sequence to appear ‘heat-proof’. The items have lost some of the tiles due to time and storage conditions and further adhesive failure has occurred for much the same reasons. The “Kirk” boots are inscribed ‘2’ on their interiors, and were located in a crate labeled (STVII – Shatner + Stunt boots)’.
