STAR TREK “’SPACE BACKGROUND PAINTINGS LOT”

Description: A lot of three background paintings featured in Star Trek feature films and episodic television. These paintings were the ‘space’ you would see out a viewport or establishing shot; one particular was actually featured in the ‘Stellar Cartography’ scene in Star Trek: Generations. One painting appears to be a star field with a trinary star system in a red nebula, the second is a star field in a blue nebula, and the third is a straight star field. The item with the blue nebula has a label on the back that reads ‘Star Trek: Generations, Artwork for Stellar Cartography 1701-D, by Rick Sternbach, April 1994’. The items have a cover board and all measures approx. 30 X 20 inches. Item Numbr 7720
