Description: A shoulder patch made for wear on Starfleet uniforms in Star Trek I: The Motion Picture, worn by Starfleet crewmembers at Starfleet Headquarters in San Francisco, and presumably other locations. The item depicts the ‘Sol System', Earth’s solar system, absent of a gray border like some other similar items, a black sun centered and five black rings around it with gray thread planets positioned accordingly, Earth being blue, and the outer planets of the system being represented on gray rings. The item measures approx. 5 inches in diameter.
