Description: This style of Starfleet uniform was seen in various first season episodes of Star Trek: The Next Generation as a throwback to the styles of The Original Series. Scants were worn by various background actors, yes, that's men, but the costume didn’t live very long on the series, unlike some of those dress uniforms… This one is command red with red piping on the black shoulders and features a two separate zipper front.
