STAR TREK X: NEMESIS “TRICORDER” HERO PROP

Description: A ‘tricorder' made for the feature film Star Trek X: Nemesis. This style of tricorder made its debut in the movie featuring a screen with a fold out scanner that has LED lights which scroll from the center to the end and back in on a repeating cycle. One was used by “Data” (Brent Spiner) while scanning “Shinzon” (Tom Hardy), and “Dr. Crusher” (Gates McFadden) used one to scan “Councilor Troi” (Mirina Sirtis). Each time they made an appearance a different screen graphic was visible, probably controlled through a computer interfacing with an attached circuit board. This style was designed to allow for a wire to run from the device to a belt placed power pack and circuit board. The power pack is labeled ‘Linearity 1 Electronics Co., LTD, Model: LAD6019AB4’ and accepts an input of 100-240Vac 1.5A 50-60Hz electricity. The tricorder item measures approx. 5.25 X 3.5 inches when not deployed.
