REFNUM: P031-0891
Description: (Paramount, 1977) This meticulously assembled aluminum production model was made for Star Trek: Phase II, the ill-fated follow-up to the classic Star Trek series. Constructed in three pieces: the main body, the Phaser 1 hand-held unit, and the handle/energy-pack mostly in aluminum, with machined acrylic tip and various gauges and dials. The trigger button depresses, and the energy pack is removable, held in place by Velcro. There were only about ten or twelve of these made for the series. Measures 9 in. in length. Illustrated in the 1997 book entitled Star Trek Phase II: The Lost Series on page 28.
