The reason for this becomes clear; the people on the planet hope to keep the children because their ability to reproduce has stopped! This costume is a blue and burgundy crimped fabric jumpsuit with knitted shoulders worn in the episode “When the Bough Breaks” of Star Trek: The Next Generation. The shoulders extend past where they join the jumpsuit to Velcro around the arms.
