STAR TREK VIII: FIRST CONTACT “BORG ASSIMILATION DEVICE”

Description: A cast resin head clamp painted metallic gray with black application details and black foam lining. Used in opening scenes of “Captain Picard's” (Patrick Stewart) assimilation into the Bog Collective, and later in an episode of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine titled “Life Support” in which “Vedek Bareil” (Phillip Anglim) was mortally wounded and then continually brought back to a state near life to conduct a peace negotiation with a Cardassian delegate. This storied device features a pair of rotating clamps made to keep the wearer in place, and a set of inert black electrical tubes running off the back of it. IT measures approx. 16 X 12 X 12 inches.
