Description: A prop pod made from molded resin etched and painted to appear as though picked from a tree, featured in the Star Trek: Enterprise episode “Extinction”. When members of an “Enterprise NX-01” away team visit a planet searching for the mysterious Xindi, they are infected with a virus that alters their DNA thus changing them into the beings which once inhabited the world. This prop is intended to be a plant pod picked from a tree by the altered “Captain Archer” (Scott Bakula) for feasting upon the creatures within. The item features a ‘broken' away section at the top from where the ‘edibles’ were scooped and as such the item is hollow and measures approx. 5.5 X 3.5 X 3.25 inches.
