STAR TREK I: TMP – “ALIEN BOY – RHAANDARITE ENSIGN” STARFLEET UNIFORM

Description: This clean cut Starfleet uniform is from Star Trek I: The Motion Picture. The top is believed to have been made for Billy Van Zandt who was credited as the “Alien Boy” and the trousers are from a background actor. His species was “Rhaandarite” and his rank was Ensign. The long sleeved top is cream with a gray Starfleet emblem on the left side of the chest, a plastic bio-monitor is attached at the waist and there are rank strips on the shoulders. The accompanying trousers are brown. The sewn in Western Costume Co. tag reads “Pili Van Sant” however the Star Trek Encyclopedia credits the actor as “Billy Van Zandt”.
