Description: A costume featured in Star Trek III: The Search for Spock for wear by actors portraying Starfleet services technicians. Costumes like this appear during the scene in which the “USS Enterprise” is stolen out of Spacedock, and even before that in Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan while crewmen on board the same ship are racing to their duty stations in preparation to attack the “USS Reliant”. The costume is an off-white full length jumpsuit with thick bands affixed to the sleeves and legs, matching thick soled boots with dark vinyl strips, a plastic backpack and chest piece which are affixed by slides into sewn in strips, metal tubes connecting them, and a white helmet with black interior lining and affixed plastic details.
