STAR TREK: DEEP SPACE NINE “OPERATIONS CENTER MODEL”

Description: A bright white, foam core model of the Operations Center set from Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. The model is a large half inch scale model, depicting a fully three dimensional view of the interior of “Ops” including multiple levels and steps to them, the center mounted situation table, an engineering station, the transporter, a pair of turbolifts, one with an inset lift, a platform going up to the ‘commander's office’, a pit in front of the oval shaped viewscreen that extends away from the wall on a piece that has come free of the base, but yet fits into position perfectly, a set of six windows, three opposing three on the left and right side, and a set of four bracing arches joined at the middle and two foam core stand-ins portraying Starfleet officers mounted into place; all of these elements feature markings of degrees and blueprint style directions for construction. The base of the model is labeled with an extremely visible ‘Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Starge 4’ marker indicating ‘Production Designer, Zimmerman’, ‘Episode, Pilot’, ‘Art Director, McIlvain’, ‘Set Name, Operations (OPS)’ and all mounted onto a wood frame. The amazing piece measures approx. 40 X 30 X 13 inches and comes in a wood crate built specifically for the item.
