Description: A costume featured in Star Trek I: The Motion Picture for wear by Nichelle Nichols in her portrayal of “Uhura”. The costume is a tan colored Class-C jacket wrap Starfleet uniform with matching trousers. The wrap features a cropped sleeves and a metallic pewter colored metal Starfleet emblem affixed at the waist and affixed orange colored division strips on the shoulders. The sewn in Paramount tag in the jacket reads ‘Nichelle Nichols' while the one in the trousers is inscribed ‘N N’. A costumer’s tag reads ‘N. Nichols, Not Used’.
