Description: Notebook containing 34 original sketches, one to a page, by make-up artist Michael Westmore as he developed the look of various Star Trek characters. Eight pages have notations and every page is initialed either "MSW" or "MW" at lower right. The first drawing is labeled "B'Rat (chemist)"; the others have no names, but have notes such as "Bone Plating" or "Tiered Cheek Bone," showing Westmore's thoughts as he worked out a "look" for a character. Serious Trekkies really should see these in person. Fine condition. Personal property of Michael Westmore.
