STAR TREK: VOY “HIROGEN TRICORDER” PROP

Description: A prop item created for episodes of Star Trek: Voyager intended to be a Hirogen tricorder. The item is modeled after the visual augmentation device used by “Noss” (Lori Petty) in the episode “Gravity” but differs in that it features sequentially flashing lights internally and an altered external appearance. By pressing a button on the top of the item an internal glow comes forth to create an orange light at the translucent areas on it and a red strobe seems to rotate through out. The item is painted metallic purple and features metal mesh accents. Made from vacuum formed plastic, the item is powered by four AA sized 1.5volt batteries which still retain power and function. The item measures approx. 6.75 X 5 X 1.75 inches. The item was listed as ‘Hirogen Tricorder’ within an in house prop continuity guide.
