Description: A special effects make up mask created for the Star Trek: Voyager episode “Phage” or “Faces” where it may have been recreated or reused. The item is a molded foam rubber mask fashioned and painted to represent the mottled mess of a Vidiian head made up of scavenged alien flesh as a symptom of the degenerative plague in their alien society named ‘the phage’. The mask covers the entire head with holes for the mouth and eyes, in those places and around the edges of the neckline the mask is dry and some flaking and cracking has occurred. The mask will continue to break down over time but for now it is in otherwise intact condition and retains its appeal.
