STAR TREK X: “WORF WIG BLOCK AND WIG”

Description: A wig block created for use by the Star Trek hair department for “Worf” (Michael Dorn). The item is a cast head sculpture made to represent the unique styling of Worf’s cranium upon which to set wigs. The item is molded foam with a light blue colored external rubber coating; a hole for mounting is present on the bottom. The wig is cut to fit Worf’s head behind the trademark Klingon ridges and is believed to be real hair with a fine brown tint. A leather string for tying the hair back is present with the wig for styling appearing in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and most of the 24th century feature films. The wig was located with a costumer’s tag reading ‘Worf 2nd Principle wig’. The block measures approx. 13.75 X 7.5 X 10.25 inches.
