STAR TREK VII: “CAPTAIN'S UNIFORM – FEMALE” | |||
A Starfleet captain's uniform featured in Star Trek VII: Generations. The costume is black trousers with elastic ankle cuffs and red stripes down the outside seam of the legs with gold centered piping, a white command division long sleeved undershirt with a ribbed collar and cuffs, and a maroon officer’s jacket with an affixed red placement and a resin badge indicating the wearer to be the rank of ‘captain’, with an affixed white command division strip around the left forearm (which is hanging on by a thread) with two gold colored metal ’10 year service’ pins featuring molded in Starfleet emblems, and three gold colored metal commendation bars. The jacket also features two black sewn on belt loops, black piping around the double breasted flap, white interior lining inside, snaps separated by silver colored metal chain accent, a black interior lining, and an affixed white command division strip on the right shoulder with an affixed ‘security device’. The costume features a sewn in Star Trek VII tag reading ‘D. Kasman’. A production guide indicates wear by ‘Dale Kasman’ who in photographs appears wearing admiral ranks. There is no indication as to when or why the costume was devoted to a captain ranked character. | |||
