STAR TREK: TNG “DR. SUNA/STUNT TALLERA ALIEN COSTUME LOT”
A lot of costumes featured in various episodes of Star Trek: The Next Generation, such as “The Gambit”, “Frame of Mind” and “Samaritan Snare”. The first costume is that of the alien psychiatrist “Suna” (Andrew Prine), in the episode “Frame of Mind”, who subjected “Commander Riker” (Jonathan Frakes) to various disorienting scenarios to try and trick him into divulging classified information about the “Enterprise-D” for him; it consists of a long-sleeved, dark-gray jacket featuring a black bordered, waffle design that has a slight rubbery feel, lighter gray inserts, corresponding, gray trousers and a wide black belt with a textured, bunched pattern. A sewn in tag reads ‘Star Trek: TNG, Andrew Prine’ and costumer’s tag that reads ‘247 Frame of Mind, Alien LT Suna, Andrew Prine’. The second being a top to the stunt variant of the character “Tallera”, played by Star Trek veteran Robin Curtis, from the two-part episode “The Gambit” and is a long-sleeved, dark-blue, green, and black striped top featuring heavy, vertical pleating all along the left sleeve, around the bottom of the garment, and along the cuff of the right sleeve; a costumer’s tag reads ‘256 The Gambit, Tallera Stunt’. Next is a Tai Chi Chuan/Mok’Bara uniform consisting of a long-sleeved, crème-colored, uniform top with a textured design, blue, staggered pinstripes; white textured accents over the left shoulder, matching trousers, a sewn in tag that reads ‘Star Trek: TNG, David Gauthier’ and a matching costumer’s tag. The last costume is a long-sleeved, full-length, red surgical gown featuring matching trousers, and a square-topped hood/hat that tucks into the top of the gown. A sewn in tag indicates reuse on Voyager but the costumer’s tag denotes use for Tzi Ma in the episode “Samaritan Snare” with the Voyager user added onto to it.
