STAR TREK: ENT “MINE GUARD COSTUME” FROM “THE XINDI”
A costume featured in the Star Trek: Enterprise episode “The Xindi”, wherein we catch our first glance of a Xindi in a trillium mining planet on the edge of the Delphic Expanse. The costume is that of one of the guards in the mining facility and is a brown, leather, overall-style trousers with stirrups for the feet, a brown leather long sleeved shirt, a heavy-duty woven tunic over the shirt with linked leather, metal belts and plastic accents that are distressed to look worn and exposed to mining conditions. Also included are a pair of matching, knee-high brown vinyl boots with black suede and gold-colored metal accents, and the Mine Guard’s weapon; a rubber cast, copper-colored phase carbine distressed in the same way. A sewn in ‘Enterprise’ tag either has had the name wear off or it never had one but a costumer’s tag reads ‘#053, Derek Mears’.
