STAR TREK: DS9 “CAPTAIN SISKO STARFLEET UNIFORM LOT”
A lot of costume items featured in various episodes of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. This lot consists of a “Captain’s variant” Starfleet “First Contact-style” uniform for wear by Avery Brooks in his portrayal of “Captain Sisko” consisting of two long-sleeved command red undershirts, one that zips all the way up the collar, another which zips part way up to where the zipper stops to create the “open shirt” effect that does not allow for the zip to be shown. The lot also comes with black trousers with sewn in ‘away team’ gear loops, a black vest with the same blue/gray quilting as the matching uniform jacket neither of which have zips, also for the open look. Furthermore, a tunic-style, blue/gray undershirt and matching shorts for wear underneath the uniform and black leather Starfleet-style boots are present. Finally, a red-orange sash from the episode “You are Cordially Invited” is included which was located with a tag reading ‘Klingon Wedding’ which is not included (the item was said to be Sisko’s despite it not appearing on the character in the episode). Every item save the sleeveless undershirt and the sash feature a sewn in tag that reads ‘Deep Space Nine, Avery Brooks’, the undershirts, vest, and uniform jacket feature costumer’s tags that identify them for wear by Avery Brooks in DS9 and boots have a label on their box that reads ‘Black Bajoran Boots, 13, Avery Brooks’. The costume also comes with a metallic silver and gold painted Starfleet combadge with a Velcro placement on the reverse that was not located with the uniform, and a captain’s worth of rank. The rank is four gold colored metal pips that fit onto a three pin rank placement and a single rank placement that pushes through the uniform fabric. The pins have been heavily used over several television series and feature films and have thus lost a great deal of their ability to clamp down onto the pins and stay in place.
