A costume accent for a Starfleet engineer’s white radiological suit appearing variously in Star Trek feature films from Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan through Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country. The item is typically referred to as a ‘thermal’ accent and was for any number of reasons removed from a corresponding costume. The item is reflective silver colored fabric bordered by white fabric with black rubber tubing fitted into positions along the face and embellished by an opaque white plastic element. The item was affixed to a costume on the left upper-arm sleeve. Barely legible on the foam filling reverse is inscribed ‘#65 Left Arm’. White threads remain from costume removal, the item measures approx. 6 X 4.25 X 0.25 inches. The black tubing indicates wear on the uniform of a crewman. | |||
