| A Starfleet phase pistol and holster like those appearing variously in episodes of Star Trek: Enterprise. These detailed replica toy weapons produced by ‘Art Asylum' in 2002 were procured by the Star Trek prop department, repainted for on screen use, and used on screen due to their incredible accuracy. Being only 20% smaller than the actual props made by the Enterprise props department, these high quality replicas have the distinct providence of having been used by various background actors, stunt performers, and perhaps regular cast members throughout the series. This phase pistol is sealed closed at its hinge, features a trigger button that depresses into the hand grip, a switch setting for ‘stun’ and ‘kill’ and a screwed in battery cover in the hand grip that has been altered to include an external port that allows for the insertion of an eighth inch jack which is connected internally to wiring. The interior ‘power pack’ is fastened into position and surrounded by graphical applications that depict circuitry and adorned with metallic gold adhesive detail. Externally, the pistol housing features a screw in setting dial on the left side unique to this prop. The item measures approx. 7 X 6.75 X 2 inches. The holster is an injection molded plastic holster configured to appear as flush to the item, with internal soft, black leather lining. Externally, the holster features an international military clip and the casing depicts the remains of what appears to be brushed on fabric adhesive, thus the item was believed to have been covered by costume fabric at some point. Together, the items measure approx. 7.75 X 6.25 X 3.25 inches. | |||
