| This incredible prop Hero Type 3 Phaser Rifle made its first appearance in Star Trek VIII: First Contact used by members of the Entrerprise-E crew to defend the ship against invading Borg drones. This particular type of weapon was featured prominently during the scene in which Captain Picard, Lt. Commander Worf, and Lt. Hawk battled the Borg on the outside of the ship itself. Constructed in cast resin, the side of the weapon has a small backlit simulated control panel powered by an internal battery supply. A small switch on the side of the gun allows the user to turn the back light on and off. The prop has been painted primarily silver to resemble metal with painted black accents. An attached retractable strap is on the opposite side to complete the affect of a Starfleet weapon. Measures approx. 36 x 10 x 2 ½ inches. |
