STAR TREK: FEATURE FILMS RADIOLOGICAL ENGINEERING SUIT
An orange radiation suit made for Star Trek I: The Motion Picture featuring a detachable matching orange gorget with plastic tubing accents, ribbed sleeves and waist, white elastic stirrups at the feet, and the waist, thighs, arms and belt feature sewn in engineering accents. The shoulders feature yellow engineering division stripes, the left forearm features a similarly colored division strip with a meritorious conduct pin and two five year service pins and a rank badge placement indicating the wearer to be an ‘able seaman'. The costume comes complete with orange gloves with accents matching those elsewhere on the costume. The costume seals up the back with Velcro and snaps. The interior tag indicates use by the ever-present Star Trek stunt person ‘Steve Blalock’ while a costumer’s tag is inscribed ‘Greg Barnett, stunt’.
