The item is made from polished metal with acrylic shades. The shade surrounding the light source is opaque, a second one on the top is clear. The item functions on standard American electricity with a two blade type-A plug on a 95 inch wire. The item measures approx. 16.5 X 5.5 inches diameter and is believed to have been altered for later use in Star Trek episodic television. | |||
