STAR TREK: ENT “DR. PHLOX'S HAND SCANNERS AND CASE”
A silver colored metal case with custom foam interior for holding in place two scanners featured frequently on various episodes of Star Trek: Enterprise for use by “Dr. Phlox” (John Billingsley). The scanners are metallic green colored with a bronze strip and a black emitter node, both feature graphical applications of medical readouts. One of the scanners is soft molded foam rubber, the second is molded resin with working internal electronics and buttons. The working item is powered by two A544 sized batteries with power remaining from production use activated by depressing a left side mounted copper colored button eliciting a blue glow from the translucent emitter node and the ‘display screen' facing the user. The items both fit neatly into their slots in the case and the case seals with a latch and is adorned with a blue application with a white cadesus and inscribed ‘Biomed Services 83D’. The case measures approx. 9 X 6.25 X 2.5 inches.
