| STAR TREK: VOYAGER “NON-HUMANOID CREATURE – NOTHING HUMAN” PROP | |||
| This impressive special effects prop creature was featured in the Star Trek: Voyager episode “Nothing Human” in which the creature attaches itself to “B'Elanna Torres” (Roxann Dawson) in order to sustain its own life. Although the majority of the crew wants to kill the creature, “Captain Janeway” (Kate Mulgrew) wishes to try and save both the creature and Torres. With this she succeeds and the creature is transported peacefully back to its ship. The prop is made of foam showing the head and partial body painted shades of pink with a green section running from the top of the head down the back. The green areas also have applied glitter. There is a split down the back of the creature that reveals the carefully crafted internal organs. A tube attaches through the underside to a balloon that inflates when blown into, giving the effect of a living being. Due to time and use, the balloon has burst however it is simply a standard balloon that can easily be replaced. A second tube inflates a circular mass lower down the body and this is still in working order. Two arms also made of foam are included however the hands are lost to time. A metal wire protrudes from each allowing them to be reattached to the main body. Creature measures approx. 24 x 12 x 4 ½ inches. | |||
