STAR TREK II: DISTRESSED STARFLEET TRAINEE UNIFORM
A costume style first appearing in Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan and continuing in the mainstream through Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country for wear by enlisted Starfleet crewmen. The costume is a full length red jumpsuit with red trainee division ribbed cuffs and collar, a functional pocket, belt loops affixed to the front, yellow engineering division strips affixed tot eh shoulders, a red trainee division strip with an engineering gold accent on the left sleeve and a rank placement with an affixed silver colored metal badge indicating the rank of ‘able seaman'. The distress is evident in that the uniform is stained to appear ‘scorched’, torn in the left sleeve and right knee, and spotted with dried special effects ‘blood’ around the upper body.
