STAR TREK: VOY “7 OF 9 TSUNKATSE COSTUME” FROM “TSUNKATSE” – STUNT | |||
“7 of 9” (Jeri Ryan), often called more simply “Seven”, was a former Borg drone from the Tertiary Adjunct of Unimatrix 01 who was liberated by the crew of the U.S.S. Voyager during the Star Trek: Voyager series. After a difficult transition back to Humanity, Seven became a valued member of the crew. In the Star Trek: Voyager episode “Tsunkatse” she was kidnapped by a ring master who captured her to participate in the popular blood sport ‘Tsunkatse'. This costume was made for wear by Seven’s stunt double (Dana Lynn Hee) although according to the accompanying costume tags components were also made for or worn by Jeri Ryan. The jumpsuit is metallic green vinyl with a zip up the back. The corresponding harness criss-crosses in the back and has iridescent ‘target’ disks on the front and back. One of the costume tags indicates the harness was worn by Jeri Ryan on the first day but she received a new one for subsequent filming that lowered the front target. The shoes are modified Nike in metallic green and black. A blue light is attached to the side of each shoe that is each powered by single standard 9Volt battery (not included). The battery, electronics and switch are housed in the back of each shoe in a black Velcro pouch. Due to time and use the battery connection in the right shoe is worn and the light can be temperamental. The other shoe lights up without a problem. There are two complete fingerless pairs of functioning gloves made of green metallic vinyl. One pair of gloves has blue light up backs and the other pair has red light up backs. Each glove is powered by four AA batteries that are housed with the electronics and switch in a black pouch around the wrist. Also included are two unfinished gloves and a single blue light up glove that according to an accompanying costume tag were made for wear by Jeri Ryan. Costume comes complete with costume tag. |
