| A costume featured in Star Trek VIII: First Contact for wear by Gates McFadden in her portrayal of “Dr. Crusher”. Following an attack on Earth, the “USS Enterprise-E” was forced to follow a Borg ship back in time to the year 2063, a day before the historic moment known as ‘First Contact', the point when Vulcans and Humans meet for the first time. The event eventually led to the foundation of the United Federation of Planets, thus if the Borg stopped First Contact the results would leave Earth ripe for conquest! The lot is the 21st century away team costume of “Dr. Crusher” and is comprised of a pair of multi-colored knit shirts, a pair of thick black socks, and a brown suede coat with a wide white wool collar and cuffs. No authenticated trousers were available, the set accompanying the lot were not located with the costume and are without any identifying feature. The costume is accompanied by black leather lace up boots inscribed inside one as ‘Gastes’, the other as ‘Beverly’, while the costumer’s tag reads ‘Dr Crusher 21 cent’. The costumer’s tag with the lot reads ‘Beverly, 21st Century’. | |||
