STAR TREK IV: “CHEKOV – CIVILIAN WEAR”
A costume featured in Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home for wear by Walter Koenig in his portrayal of “Chekov”. The costume is two sets of brown leather trousers, one with suspender attached and located with the item, a black long sleeved shirt with a ribbed collar and cuffs which was located separately from the costume, and a brown leather jacket with front pockets featuring a diagonal zip and a flap top. The two sets of trousers and the jacket feature Western Costume Co. tags reading ‘Walter Koenig', the black undershirt features no sewn in tag. The costume also comes with a black leather belt with a gold colored metal Starfleet emblem buckle and features a label affixed to the inside reading ‘Chekov’. Despite there being no evidence that Chekov wore a belt of this style in Star Trek IV, it has been included. A costumer’s tag reads ‘Walter Koenig’. This lot composes the last representative of this style of costume.
