STAR TREK IV: “STARFLEET COMMAND ORANGE RADIOLOGICAL SUIT”
A costume featured in Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home for wear by technicians in Starfleet Command who were monitoring the ecological damage being wrought outside. The costume is an orange radiological engineering suit like those appearing in other Star Trek feature films. The costume is an orange jumpsuit with affixed yellow division strips on the shoulders, a pair of ‘thermal' accents sewn onto the legs, one is missing its black tubing elements, a matching one on the left arm with no tubes, an affixed reflective element on the waist, an affixed orange trimmed yellow division strip on the left sleeve with an affixed silver colored metal commendation bar and a pair of ‘five year service’ pins, and an affixed orange placement with an affixed metal rank badge indicating the wearer to be an ‘able seaman’, and a metal breath mask attachment on the left breast. The costume also comes with these unattached elements: a matching cloth covered helmet, orange gloves with black ‘thermal’ tubing, a black foam collar, and a chest centered accent made from copper colored foil. The costume features costumer’s tags reading ‘window Crew (stunt) Starfleet Command, sc. 49-54’.
