STAR TREK: “BORG ITEM LOT”
A lot of Borg related items featured variously in Star Trek episodic television. A molded foam rubber ‘arm' section is present which was featured in Star Trek VIII: First Contact during a montage depicting the assimilation of multiple crew members on board the “USS Enterprise-E”. The arm is molded to represent a severed forearm with a cybernetic implant embedded and white necrotized skin pulled over portions of the ‘addition’ in preparation to receive a Borg technological arm, a molded rubber band is present painted with details to represent hardware and the skin paint extends just below that as the rest of the item would be placed inside a sleeve. An electronic light ‘beacon’ is present which was located with the items, painted metallic bronze with black this molded resin item features an acrylic dome on top that shines red and features a sequentially flashing orange set of lights on the outer edge activated by a side mounted switch but powered by an unknown internal source. Also, a piece of set dressing perhaps, a metallic silver item on a black base made to represent hardware with two severed cable coverings. Finally, a circular element with four b lack wire coverings extending away from it with molded resin pieces and a housing for three 9volt batteries which have no contacts but are connected to a pair of black depression switches, there is no indication as to what this might power.
