STAR TREK: ENT “XINDI-INSECTOID CIRCUITRY PANEL” FROM “HATCHERY”
A piece of set dressing featured in the Star Trek: Enterprise episode “Hatchery”; wherein the “Enterprise NX-01” comes upon a deserted Xindi-Insectoid ship with a hatchery full of eggs still inside and Captain Archer” (Scott Bakula) begins acting irrationally to try and keep them that way. This item is a trapezoidal circuit panel featuring one intact, screwed on hinge, silver and black two-tone color, a print of what could be described as a circuit path in black as well, green LED lights with Xindi script between them leading to a large, central, Xindi glyph; from the red glyphs on either side and the large one in the middle, the design would suggest this is some sort of systems maintenance panel to check on the conditions in the hatchery. The underside of the object has a print of a Xindi circuit board and features a similar graphic to the one on the front, further Xindi glyphs, untested electronics, and three wires that seem to be the power source for the LEDs leading out. The item measures approx. 8 X 9 X 1.5 inches not counting the length of the wire.
