STAR TREK II, III, IV: “SAAVIK” MULTI-FEATURE LOT
A lot of costume elements assembled to develop a multi-feature representation of the character “Saavik” portrayed by both Kirstie Alley in Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan and Robin Curtis in Star Trek III: The Search for Spock and Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home. The costume is a Starfleet officer's uniform comprised of black trousers with gray division stripes down the outside seam with a sewn in Paramount label inscribed ‘Robin Curtis’, a command division white undershirt with long sleeves also featuring a Paramount tag reading ‘Robin Curtis’, a maroon costume jacket with silver chain accents between the black snaps and a tan inner lining, with a sewn in Paramount tag indicating use by various actresses which was located separately of the other pieces, and a trio of red trainee sleeveless shirts with sewn in tags reading ‘Saavik’. The costume comes with these unattached costume elements: a red trainee shoulder division strip with an affixed ‘security device’ and metal ‘lieutenant (Junior Grade)’ rank pins and a matching division strip for the left sleeve that features a white command division flash that is separate from its intended gold trimmed black belt backing, and a command white shoulder division strip with a with a corresponding sleeve strip with a gray division flash, an accompanying metal ‘lieutenant (Junior Grade)’ rank set for the white division strip, and a ‘lieutenant (Junior Grade)’ set affixed to a red placement. Two costumer’s tags are present reading ‘Star Trek II, 60180-100, Kirstie Alley as Saavik Chg. #1’, a third costumer’s tag reads ‘Robin Curtis’. A 29-31 length black leather belt with a gold colored metal Starfleet emblem belt buckle is included with the costume which was not photographed.
