Appearing to be made from all metal components, the item is built on a weighty black base with screw holes for mounting, held aloft by a brace, the item features a drum on one end and multiple points of contact attached all around it, jutting out in several directions. Items like this have a special place in television and film sets, to make the place look more interesting, but not to take the viewer’s eye away from the actors. Nevertheless, discerning fans remember that it looks familiar, until they kick themselves for having seen it a hundred times. Check episodes like “Cold Front”.
