| A lot of prop items featured in the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode “The Icarus Factor”; wherein “Commander Riker” (Jonathan Frakes) unexpectedly finds that it is his own estranged father “Kyle Riker” (Mitchell Ryan) that has come aboard to brief him on his new command. This lot consists of three anbo-jytsu staff weapons that “Commander Riker” and his father used in their match against each other; they are black, metal staves featuring numerous Japanese characters and themed designs, a rubber-ended housing for a recessed, “proximity sensor” with untested electronics. A silver-colored ring about ¾ of the way up with a button that is believed to be the switch for the light on the bottom and, on the front end, a half-capsule-shaped padded striking area tied or with orange rope. The item has moderate distress due to time and storage and each one has approx. height of 70 inches and diameter at its largest point of 5 inches. | |||
