STAR TREK: DS9 “BAJORAN DARK ORB” FROM “TEARS OF THE PROPHETS”
Bajoran Orbs, also known as Tears of the Prophets are central to the Bajoran religion. In the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episode, “Tears of the Prophets” a Par-wraith carried inside “Dukat” (Marc Alaimo) entered the Celestial Temple causing all the Orbs to go dark. This impressive dark Orb appears to be made of darkened resin in an hour glass shape. It is hollow in the middle. Measures approx. 12 ¼ x 7 ½ inches diameter. Please note this is currently the only Bajoran Orb ever located.
