STAR TREK: ENT “NX-BETA FLIGHT CONTROL CENTER WALL PANEL” FROM “FIRST FLIGHT”
A large acrylic panel featured in the Star Trek: Enterprise episode “First Flight”. The item was part of the set created as the Mission Control Center at Starfleet Headquarters during the testing of the “NX-Beta” warp 2 engines. The panel front features a graphical application with multiple openings for backlit details to shine through, multiple faux rubber buttons, and detail lines meant to depict depth. One section also depicts the “NX-Beta” with several readout lights placed at points of interest, others are identified as ‘Datastream 012 Bypass’, ‘Ship Systems Check’, ‘Port’ and ‘Starboard PWR Systems’ and ‘Backup Feed Power’. The reverse of the item features a graphic that allows indicator lights, static gages, and graphical representations of the “NX-Beta” itself, readouts to become visible. The item features screw holes around its perimeter for mounting into a frame or against a wall. The indicators and ‘screens’ are only visible when back lit. The item measures approx. 96 X 48 inches.
