STAR TREK V: THE FINAL FRONTIER “CAPTAIN SPOCK CAMPING COSTUME"
A costume featured in the fifth Star Trek feature film, “The Final Frontier”; wherein the “Enterprise-A” responds to a distress call and is brought into a scheme by “Captain Spock’s” (Leonard Nimoy) full-blood Vulcan brother “Sybok” (Laurence Luckinbill) to find “God”. This costume is the very one that “Captain Spock” (Leonard Nimoy) wore while camping with “Admiral Kirk” (William Shatner) and “Dr. McCoy” (DeForest Kelley) in the opening sequences; a long-sleeved, metallic-violet and black, textured and striped robe featuring gray piping, matching Vulcan iconographic symbols, clasp cuff adjustment, trousers in a matching gray with burgundy stripes and stirrups for the feet. A long-sleeved, rugged, blue, denim jacket featuring neon-green, pleated, accent along the arms, blue pleated accents over the shoulders; more neon-green on the pockets, a single, long, Velcro closure down the front and a single button at the neck. The robe is the only thus located costume worn to be worn by Leonard Nimoy that still maintains its affixed Vulcan iconographic symbols. A costumer’s tag reads ‘Star Trek V: The Final Frontier, Leonard Nimoy as Spock, Change 1, 1a’.
