A costume featured in the ninth Star Trek feature film; wherein “Captain Picard” (Patrick Stewart) and the crew of the “Enterprise-E” rebel against Starfleet and the Federation itself to prevent the exploitation of a defenseless race called the Ba’ku. This costume consists of three, short-sleeved, tan, faux-suede shirts, black trousers, a black belt, and an olive/gray, long-sleeved, soft leather jacket. The belt is labeled “Pickard”, and a costumer’s tag reads ‘Dirty from Cave in, Picard’.

STAR TREK IX: “CAPTAIN PICARD – BAK'U CAVE IN” INSURRECTION COSTUME
A lot of civilian wear featured in Star Trek IX: Insurrection for wear by Patrick Stewart in his portrayal of “Captain Picard”. The lot consists of a set of dark mauve trousers with a blank white label sewn into the inside rear seam, a trio of two tone tan and olive colored micro suede, short sleeved shirts with one ‘Bill Hargate Costumes’ original manufacturers tag sewn into each; two of the tags are inscribed, one is illegible, one reads ‘#1 Hero’, and a green leather jacket with an asymmetrical front, an inside pocket in its green lining, and a piece of two sided adhesive tape inside, and a black leather belt with a label inscribed ‘Picard’. The jacket features a degree of strategically placed distress to appear ‘scored’ by falling debris. The distress is evident in scratches along the back around the shoulders, along the hem of the back, a white swath on the right jacket front, and is generally dusty from production use, the shirts and the trousers are in fine condition. The costumer’s tag reads ‘Sc- 222-240, dirty / from cave / in, Picard’. An excellent piece, this represents the last of the available ‘Picard’ Insurrection-style civilian costumes in the collection.
