STAR TREK: TNG “FENCING COSTUME LOT” FROM “I, BORG” AND “WE'LL ALWAYS HAVE PARIS” | |||
A lot of costumes featured in episodes of Star Trek: The Next Generation like “I, Borg” and “We’ll Always Have Paris”. The first costume is for wear by the stunt double of “Guinan” (Whoopi Goldberg) in the episode “I, Borg” when she is fencing with “Captain Picard” (Patrick Stewart) and the second is for wear by Dam Kern in the role of “Lieutenant Dead, also a fencing partner of “Captain Picard”; they both consist of a sleeveless, full-length jumpsuit featuring a white, fabric under-shirt sewn onto white, glittery trousers and a long-sleeved white fencing jacket with the same glittery appearance, snaps and a zip across the left shoulder and down the side securing the wrap around front of the garment. Also included is a pair of Nike athletic shoes with the same glittery fabric sewn onto them, one fencing helmet composed of steel mesh with a reflective, metal-colored, dot pattern on the outside, padding on the inside, a snap-on neck bib; another fencing helmet of the same type with white material accent that is lightly worn due to time and storage and a hood composed of both the white glittery fabric used in the jumpsuit and the metal-colored dot pattern on the other helmet. Two pair of reinforced gloves in the metal-colored design around the wrists and the white glitter fabric around the hand; one pair has moderate staining and two white, quilted, chin pads that snap into the mask. The first costume is labeled multiple times with the name “Jay” or the initials “JH” and has a costumer’s tag that reads ‘TNG 223 I, Borg, Stunt Guinan, Jay Hooper’; the second costume is labeled “DK” and also features a costumer’s tag that reads ‘#135 Measure of a Man, Not used 2nd season, worn first season on Dan Kern, fencing partner for Patrick’. |
