| STAR TREK: VOY “TORRES' ORBITAL SKYDIVING BOOTS” - STUNT | |||
| A pair of orbital skydiving stunt boots for wear by a female. The boots were featured in the Star Trek: Voyager episode “Extreme Risk” created for the opening scene during which “B’Elanna Torres” (Roxann Dawson) takes up the hobby. The items are heavy duty with neoprene inside and out, with black exteriors pyramidal patterned vinyl coverings for a textures appearance, molded rubber accents to suggest hardware, and iridescent purple square tiles applied in sequence to appear ‘heat-proof’. The items have lost some of the tiles due to time and storage conditions and further adhesive failure has occurred for much the same reasons. The items were located in a crate labeled ‘‘‘Roxann Dawson “Torres” – Orbital Boots, Helmet & Harness’. The actual orbital skydiving costume and principle character related boots were sold in the Christie’s Auction of October 2006. | |||
