STAR TREK: ENT “NX-BETA FLIGHT CONTROL CENTER SITUATION BOARD” FROM “FIRST FLIGHT” | |||
A large acrylic panel featured in the Star Trek: Enterprise episode “First Flight”. The item was part of the set created as the Mission Control Center at Starfleet Headquarters during the testing of the “NX-Beta” warp 2 engines. The panel front features a graphical application with multiple openings for backlit details to shine through, multiple faux rubber buttons, and detail lines meant to depict depth. The item features three ‘display screens’ visible when back lit which depict various gages, displays, and readouts. A trio of static gages in the center board are labeled separately as ‘Port Power System’, ‘Starboard Power System’, and ‘Backup Feed Power’, they are positioned left of a large graphic of the ‘NX Beta’ which has multiple points of interest selected where an indicator light can shine through. The right side of the item depicts several other displays, gages, and indicators. The reverse of the item retains several places where lights were previously affixed to a small box that was adhered to the graphic itself thus allowing a single indicator light on the front to appear to be flashing. The item features multiple screw holes for wall mounting and measures approx. 96 X 48 inches. |
