STAR TREK: VOY “CAPTAIN JANEWAY KLINGON COSTUME” FROM “THE KILLLING GAME: PART I”
A costume featured in the first part of the Star Trek: Voyager episode “The Killing Game: Part I”; wherein “Voyager” is captured by a Hirogen hunting group and the crew is brainwashed to play out their battle strategies in a holographic World War II occupied France scenario. This costume is the Klingon warrior uniform that “Captain Janeway” (Kate Mulgrew) is wearing while in the Klingon simulation that the Hirogen had also set up; a dark-gray, faux leather, quilted jacket featuring black, vertical stripes, rubber, textured, studded accents, black, and faux fur sleeves with three resin cast Klingon iconographic symbols. A shoulder armor piece that goes on over the head and consists of more gray, quilted, faux leather and further rubber, textured accents in addition to several metal studs, as splotch of special effects ‘blood’ and slight distress beneath it. There is a Velcro patch on the back of the breastplate for the segmented gray foam rubber spine to attach, a matching, black faux leather gorget with two pins of Klingon iconography, matching gauntlets with rubber piping, a belt with the recognizable trapezoidal, Klingon buckle, black, leather, fingerless gloves with attached “claws”, and dark-gray, overall-style, pleated trousers with stirrups for the feet, and black, vinyl spats with quilted accents. Multiple sewn in tags and labels denote reuse by various actors and actresses; the costume jacket features a sewn in Voyager tag that reads ‘Lynn Salvatore’. The distressed shoulder armor piece with the stage 'blood' on it has a sewn in Voyager tag that reads ‘Kate Mulgrew’.
